Are borders open? Can I travel to France?

All travel to and from countries outside the European space (European Union Member States, Andorra, the Holy See, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Monaco, Norway, San Marino and Switzerland) is prohibited, unless there are pressing grounds for travel. Travel to and from countries within the European space is strongly discouraged.

Are there any quarantine requirements upon arrival?

No. But whatever your place of departure, if you show symptoms of COVID-19 upon arrival in France, you will be quarantined or placed and kept in isolation by the prefect.

Do I need to take a Covid-19 test upon arrival?

Yes. A negative RT-PCR test result, carried out less than 72 hours before departure is required.

Do I need to prepare any additional documents before departing?

Yes. Passengers must have a completed sworn statement.

Can I enter France without restrictions if I have a Covid-19 vaccine certificate?

No.

Do I need to be vaccinated against Covid-19 to enter France?

No.
